Successful hunters that fill their tag now have a unique opportunity to return to their heritage as food providers and give back to their community to help the less fortunate.Successful hunters that fill their tags now have a unique opportunity to continue their heritage as food providers, support their local community, and help feed the less fortunate through this program.

We'd like to thank all of our participating organizations, sponsors and hunters for your continued support of this great program. Together we are making a difference. Donations of wild game meat from individuals from 2001 through 2012 have reached incredible totals at 43,479 pounds, providing over 173,916 quarter pound servings or meals. In 2012, our program brought in 1,749 pounds of wild game meat (Venison, Elk, Buffalo) totaling 6,996 quarter pound servings. Click here for more detailed stats and program sponsors.
 

We'd like to thank all the participating hunters
in your continued support of this great program.
 

Your monetary donations are need to cover the cost of processing, packaging, freezing, distribution and transportation of the meat. The meat is then available at no cost to needy clients through our partner agencies including area food banks and kitchens.
 

With your generous support, we can stop hunger in its tracks.
 

There are five ways that you can support The Hunters for the Hungry program:

1) A Donation of Wild and Domestic Meat:

~ All legally taken and properly tagged animals in good condition can be donated to the program.
~ All donated meat must be inspected and packaged by a pre-approved participating meat processor.
~ All packages must be marked "Not For Resale"
~ Donors can mail authorized meat signature forms to us if you would like to receive a tax deductible donation receipt.

3) Purchase your Hunting Gear:  You can now purchase your hunting gear through our local chapter and national affiliation with "Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry" program. By shopping in this manner you will get a great deal on your equipment, and also be donating to our program in the process. It's a great way to get the gear you need and feed the hungry at the same time. To see what type of gear is available, click here to go to their online store. 4) Fundraiser, Events, Pledge Drive:

5) Talk with your fellow hunters, neighbors, and those you work with about our program. Ask them to join you in helping the less fortunate.
